Dena Hynes diMonda is an artist & designer creating impressionistic paintings that explore and record the healing power of nature. Inspired by moments of escape and immersion in wild places, her paintings are expressive reflections of memory and place. Each piece is a visual impression. Through painting, she tries to hold onto a specific moment—that feeling of stillness, presence, and quiet connection. The paintings become a way to return to those places, not just physically, but emotionally. Trees, in particular, feel like steady companions in this process.

With a BFA and over 20 years of experience in the creative arts, Dena blends intuitive mark-making with a trained eye for composition and color. She had her first gallery show over 15 years ago and continues to evolve her artistic practice.
